SHE CALLS HIM "MI AMOR" And I am momentarily Jealous That no hands so fine Ever braced me Against the world No voice so kind Ever advised me On how to be a man I see his eyes Just a bit chagrined She teases him And then sneaks In for a hug Quick as a cat And twice as smug His smile Is her reward And so again She calls him “Mi amor.”
